From The Composer

I am ecstatic to share some thrilling news with you! I have accepted an invitation to serve as composer-in-residence from Nov. 20-24 and present a spectacular concert of my choral works with Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY).  We will perform a captivating program of several of my compositions for women’s voices. The concert’s theme, “Celebrate Us!”, will feature an empowering repertoire that celebrates the experiences and voices of women of all ages, races, cultures, and backgrounds.  Songs include Celebrate Us! (a recent commission by the Women’s Chorus of Dallas),  To Sit and Dream , and Still I Rise!

I am confident that DCINY will create an unforgettable experience that aligns perfectly with my vision for an exhilarating, high-standard, and participant-friendly celebration. Plus, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant offerings of New York City, including shopping, dining, shows, and, of course, a fabulous concert!
